It is a chance to work with specialist tutors and perform alongside like minded individuals whilst also enjoying a relaxed holiday atmosphere. (See the '91Articles'92 section of this site for a delegate'92s perspective on the course.) Following this year's course David commented,

"I would like to thank every player for their hard work and enthusiasm. It was great fun to work with such a fantastic section of musicians. I look forward to the prospect of hearing and seeing you all again in the future."

In addition to attracting euphonium players from throughout the UK, this year's summer school was pleased to host Norman Taylor of California USA, Saki Terashima of Osaka Japan, and Shinya Yasuda of Tokyo Japan.
