Switzerland & Japan close 2007
Following a busy year David’s 2007 concert schedule finished in style with prestigious events around the globe.
With the support of his sponsors, ‘Schreiber-Keilwerth-York’, David appeared as a guest soloist with the Treize Etoile Band in Montreux’s Stravinski Hall before flying to Japan for concerts in Tokyo, Matsumoto and Osaka completing what has been a busy year for the euphonium soloist.

Stravinski Hall - Montreux

During his performance in Montreux David gave the Swiss premiere of Paul Lovatt-Cooper’s ‘Neath the Dublin Skies to the delight of the composer who had made the trip from the UK especially for the concert. He also performed Paul Lovatt Cooper’s ‘Donegal Bay’ and brought the house daown with his encore – ‘The Hot Canary’!

From Switzerland to Japan: This was David’s third visit to Asia and during the tour he gave several masterclasses, recitals and made a guest soloist appearance with the Tokyo City Brass Band. The tour was a huge success and generated record CD sales.

David is a ‘Schreiber-Keilwerth-York’ Artist and performs exclusively on their ‘York’ brand of euphonium.
