Following a highly successful appearance with the BBC Concert Orchestra in Chichester last season, David Childs has been invited to perform with the Orchestra once again for the high profile Radio 2 live show, 'Friday Night is Music Night.'

Every Friday at 7.30pm, the BBC Concert Orchestra is joined live on Radio 2 by artists from the world of opera and musical theatre, performing the very best of popular classics; this Friday (27th) Classic FM's very own Alfie Boe will be appearing with the orchestra as Paul Gambaccini presents the show live from London's Mermaid.

However, one month later on June 1st David Childs, introduced by presenter Aled Jones as the '91Paganini of the Euphonium'92 during David's last appearance on the show, will take to the stage with the BBC Concert orchestra to present a varied selection of solo repertoire including beautiful melodies and virtuosic showpieces.
