A couple of posters lead the way to Antillo!


At the invitation of Maestro Giuseppe Paratore David flew out to beautiful Sicily to perform as a guest soloist with the 'Corpo Musicale "V.Bellini" Di Antillo' for their centenary gala concert in Piazza Maria Antillo.

David performed a selection of solos with the wind band including Picchi's 'Fantasia Originale', Glennie's 'A Little Prayer', Peter Graham's 'Brillante', Bellstedt's 'Napoli', Morricone's 'Gabriel's Oboe', Arban's 'Carnival of Venice' and Nero's 'The Hot Canary'!

Following a highly successful concert the band's centenary was celebrated in style with a reception held for the band and various dignitaries during which a very special birthday cake was presented!
