David was resident in Linz for the full week of this low brass extravaganza. Representing Besson Musical instruments his duties began as guest soloist in the Opening Ceremony of ITEC 2012. "I'd forgotten what a wonderful place the Brucknerhaus is to play. Had fun performing 'Neath Dublin Skies with SoundInnBrass and their conductor Steven Mead. Also enjoyed listening to the RNCM Euphonium Octet under Dave Thornton's direction - superb."

He also performed Peter Meechan's Sparta and Mantia's Endearing Young Charms in a separate Brucknerhaus concert with the Youth Brass of Upper Austria. Durinf Meechan's Sparta pictured below!
