The Cardiff Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile race starting at City Hall and finishing in Cardiff Castle grounds. Thousands of people form all over the world take part; some are keen athletes, others do it for fun, and there are many who run to try and help raise money for charity. David is running for charity and hopes to raise in excess of 'a3500 for 'Cancer Care Cymru'.

Cancer Care Cymru provides specialist care and support to people in Wales affected by cancer, from the moment of diagnosis and throughout treatment. Its aim is to fund specialist staff to work within those hospitals in Wales providing cancer services. (Charity Registration No 1108812)
